Thank you for taking a moment to discover Old Mountain. With a background in the creative arts, photography and writing, I moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2004.
Long before moving to Asheville, I discovered a love for vintage and antique objects. Out of the way antique and junk stores have always felt like home to me.
I believe curating can be thoughtful without being too burdened or worried about what things are suppose to go together. I’ve found collecting is often the most enjoyable and interesting when we create unexpected conversation between objects that might seem, at first, to be disparate.
